	Airespace Acquired by Cisco Systems
	Airespace designs and develops wireless networking infrastructure that enable business critical-applications. By making wireless technology simple, seamless, and secure, Airespace is helping to make wireless enterprises a reality.

	AsiaInfo IPO
	AsiaInfo is a leading provider of high-quality software and solutions in China. The company provides total customer solutions to some of China's largest companies, and helps its customers to increase their business value in fast-growing and evolving markets. Fidelity Ventures invested in AsiaInfo 1997.

	Atari IPO, Acquired by TimeWarner
	Atari dominated the first generation of personal computers and video game systems. Fidelity Ventures invested in Atari in 1975, and helped drive the growth that led to a successful IPO and then acquisition by Warner Communications (now TimeWarner.)

	Banyan Systems IPO
	An early giant in LANs and LAN interconnectivity, Banyan marketed networking software products for complex computer systems. Banyan pioneered software for joining disparate LANS, and was first to market with a global directory service. In May of 2000 Banyan changed its name to ePresence and currently trades on NASDAQ under the symbol EPRE. Fidelity Ventures invested in Banyan in 1984.

	Connected Acquired by Iron Mountain
	Connected Corporation is the world's leading provider of storage software for automated protection, archiving and recovery of distributed data.

	Continental Cablevision IPO
	Continental Cablevision built, operated and maintained one of the first national cable networks. Since becoming part of the US West Media Group it has grown to become the third largest broadband telecommunications provider in the country, and serves more than 4.8 million subscribers in 19 states. Fidelity Ventures invested in Continental Cablevision in 1972.

	GeoTel IPO, Acquired by Cisco
	Geotel provided call routing and optimization software utilized by the world's leading enterprise call centers. Fidelity Ventures invested in GeoTel in 1995.

	Internap IPO
	Internap Network Services Corporation offers high-performance IP solutions for business-critical applications through its industry-leading route control and optimization technology. Fidelity Ventures invested in Internap in 1999.

	Kurzweil Applied Intelligence IPO
	Kurzweil Applied Intelligence manufactured automated speech recognition systems used to create documents and interact with computers by voice. Fidelity Ventures invested in Kurzweil Applied Intelligence in 1978.

	MCI IPO
	MCI, a global leader in both business and residential telecommunications, provides service to 20 million customers in 65 countries. Fidelity Ventures invested in MCI in 1969, providing early capital to begin the build-out of their national long distance network.

	Micom Systems IPO, Acquired by Nortel
	Micom Systems designs and manufactures microprocessor-based data communications equipment. Fidelity Ventures invested in Micom Systems in 1979.

	Newisys Acquired by Sanmina
	Newisys developed enabling server technology based on the AMD Opteron processor for the enterprise server market. Fidelity Ventures invested in Newisys in 2002.

	Nexabit Networks Acquired by Lucent
	Nexabit Networks developed the next generation of high performance switching and routing equipment. Fidelity Ventures invested in Nexabit in 1998.

	Nextel IPO, then Merged
	Nextel Communications is a leading provider of fully integrated wireless communications services and has built the largest guaranteed all-digital wireless network in the country covering thousands of communities across the United States. In 1998 Fidelity Ventures invested in Advanced Mobilecomm and other entities which were merged to become Nextel.

	Nuance IPO
	Nuance develops speech recognition, language understanding, and speaker verification software that automates voice-based access to information and services. Fidelity Ventures invested in Nuance in 1998.

	ONI Systems IPO, Acquired by Ciena
	ONI Systems is a leading provider of optical telecommunication equipment whose products are now sold through Ciena. Fidelity Ventures invested in ONI Systems in 1999.

	PakNetX Acquired by Aspect Telecom
	PakNetX enabled call centers to seamlessly integrate voice and internet interactions with customers. Fidelity Ventures invested in PakNetX in 1997.

	Rolm IPO, Acquired by IBM
	Rolm dominated the PBX market with advanced switching and routing equipment for voice calls. Fidelity Ventures invested in Rolm in 1977, and the company was later acquired by IBM.

	Service Metrics Acquired by Exodus
	Service Metrics provided objective performance and availability analysis for high volume and business-critical Web sites. Fidelity Ventures invested in Service Metrics in 1999.

	Teleport Communications Group IPO, Acquired by AT&T
	Teleport Communications provided high quality, integrated telecommunications services, primarily over fiber optic digital networks, to meet the voice, data and video transmission needs of its customers. Fidelity Ventures invested in Teleport in 1987. The company IPO'd and later acquired by AT&T.

	Wavesmith Acquired by Ciena
	Wavesmith's multi-service switching platforms enabled carriers to enhance the usefulness of their existing optical infrastructure by delivering cost-effective ATM, Frame Relay, and IP services at the edge. Fidelity Ventures invested in WaveSmith in 2001.

	Webspective Software Acquired by Inktomi
	Wespective Software provided Internet commerce and content sites with Web resource management system designed to run e-business in real-time. Fidelity Ventures invested in Wespective Software in 1998.

	WNP Acquired by XO Communications
	WNP Communications was a company formed in 1998 to participate in the Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) markets. WNP served the data, voice and video needs of customers with a combination of broadband wireless technology, packet switching, and high-speed fiber optic links. Fidelity Ventures invested in WNP in 1998.
