Atari Atari dominated the first generation of personal computers and video game systems. Fidelity Ventures invested in Atari in 1975, and helped drive the growth that led to a successful IPO and then acquisition by Warner Communications (now TimeWarner.)
  BridgeCo
BridgeCo is a leading supplier of rich media networking solutions – semiconductors and software that enable consumer electronics devices and PC’s to communicate together, addressing consumer needs for anytime, anywhere entertainment.
  Continental Cablevision
IPO
Continental Cablevision Continental Cablevision built, operated and maintained one of the first national cable networks. Since becoming part of the US West Media Group it has grown to become the third largest broadband telecommunications provider in the country, and serves more than 4.8 million subscribers in 19 states. Fidelity Ventures invested in Continental Cablevision in 1972.
  Intellon
Intellon is the leading semiconductor supplier for the powerline home networking market. They design, develop, and distribute components to equipment manufacturers worldwide that produce networked consumer products.
  Kajeet
Kajeet is a pay-as-you-go mobile phone service created exclusively for kids and parents navigating the tween years.
  MCI
IPO
MCI MCI, a global leader in both business and residential telecommunications, provides service to 20 million customers in 65 countries. Fidelity Ventures invested in MCI in 1969, providing early capital to begin the build-out of their national long distance network.
  Nextel
IPO, then Merged
Nextel Communications is a leading provider of fully integrated wireless communications services and has built the largest guaranteed all-digital wireless network in the country covering thousands of communities across the United States. In 1998 Fidelity Ventures invested in Advanced Mobilecomm and other entities which were merged to become Nextel.
  Prosper
